He was Anthony Henderson, a college official, who was hired as a hall director. In the spring semester of 1988, a young man by the name of Alberto A. Ebanks, was initiated into the fraternity under Delta Zeta chapter which is seated on the campus of Syracuse University. This brother Ebanks was the first undergraduate brother to roam the grounds of SUNY Oswego. One year later, Spring 1989, three men followed the footsteps of Ebanks. The opening of the school year 1991-92, marked the most precious moment in our chapter history. Seven inspired men were initiated into the fraternity, and established the chapter known as Sigma Omicron.
